I’ve listened to Deacon Blue for many years now, they’re one of my favourite bands, and I’ve seen them in concert several times. I finally got to see them again in Liverpool on Saturday night. I say finally because the concert was supposed to take place a year ago and was postponed because of Covid.

I have to say they were on top form, probably their best concert I’ve been to and it was great to be out doing something relatively normal after the best part of two years of lockdowns and isolation.

I even videoed one of their songs the mighty Real Gone Kid which I have to say went down a storm, as it always does.

So thank you Deacon Blue for an exceptional concert and long may you continue.
