Following the tremendous success of our first Songwriter Evening we are delighted to announce the date of the second Songwriter Evening on Saturday 14th March. Venue is Ysceifiog Village Hall CH8 8NJ.

The evening starts at 7pm with registration of performers and the music starts at 7.30. Please be in your seat by 7.30 so you don’t miss any music. As before, the evening costs just £3 per person with all income going to help with the upkeep of Ysceifiog Village Hall.

Everyone is welcome – come and listen to exceptional local musicians play music that they have written. We know that there are loads of very talented musicians in and around North Wales and the Songwriter Evening is designed to enable those musicians to showcase their art.

Songwriters – the evening is based on the open mic format and is open to all songwriters who want to perform their own work in front of an audience. No covers please, just original work.

The aim is that musicians will be able to perform at least two songs each, more if time allows.

The key point for musicians is that this is not a pub environment, people won’t be chatting to their mates, ordering drinks or watching the TV, they will be coming to listen to your music. The acoustics are great and a PA system is provided.

Please remember, anyone performing must perform their own original music, strictly no covers.
