Austrian twins Mona and Lisa (yes, really) came to my attention quite some time ago because they excel at Beatles covers which they post onto YouTube.

Both are talented musicians and demonstrate this on stage, have a look at their sessions at the Cavern for evidence. They have over 165,000 subscribers on YouTube so they’re obviously doing something right.

Personally I love the way they take such well known songs and give them a slight Mona Lisa edge without feeling the need to radically alter the song or squeeze it into some false 2020s production.

I will definitely be venturing out to see them live when we’re allowed back out in the the world, meanwhile I hope you enjoy their videos and music as much as I do.
