OK so no-one is shooting at me, I’m not going hungry and as far as I know I’m not suffering from anything terminal. But all the same it’s really not been my day.

On top of YouTube deciding to block the video that had taken me a couple of hours to prepare Cubase, my DAW of choice, has refused to update to the latest version. It’s cost me £85 to get this message.

Looking on the online Cubase forums it seems that there’s a whole heap of problems with the new upgrade so I don’t know why I thought for one minute that everything would run smoothly with my update. Blind optimism I suppose. Or just plain stupidity. Either way Cubase 12 isn’t going to be working today.

I think I’ll go to the pub instead. I might be some time.
