For those of use who play an instrument (however badly) there’s nothing quite like the thrill of getting a new instrument to play. For me it’s a guitar.

I’ve recently spent some time thinking about what instruments I want to own and which ones I want to keep and I’ve decided to get rid of two and replace them. The first new guitar I decided to buy is this beauty – a Taylor T5 electric/acoustic hollowbody hybrid.

I can’t remember what the colour is called and I haven’t seen another one like this, but what I can say is that it plays like a dream. I doubt that my playing will do it justice but it’s a real thrill just to own such a beautiful instrument.
