With mixed emotions I’m pleased to let you now that the video called Christine’s Story which accompanies my song My Guardian Angel has now passed 1,000 YouTube views.

It’s my first video to reach that figure and it was also the first video I released.

The video chronicles the life of my late partner Christine who died in 2018 from blood cancer. The song and the video were released to both raise money for the Blood Cancer UK charity, but just as importantly to raise awareness about this horrible disease.

The video is not an easy watch, it wasn’t designed to be. I felt that if I was to tell Christine’s story honestly I had to include the reason why she died and what the disease did to her.

The video helped raise thousands of pounds for Blood Cancer UK and I am still in awe of the generosity both of people that knew Christine and especially those who didn’t know her but were moved by her story.

Thank you to everyone who has watched the video or listened to the song My Guardian Angel. I hope the video resonates with those touched by cancer.

One day we will beat cancer, meanwhile we will remember all those who have been taken from us.
