In my opinion Joan Armatrading is one the most under-rated artists of all time. She’s had hits but she’s a long way from being a household name. Love & Affection is quite simply a beautiful song from the superb album Joan Armatrading. If you haven’t heard the whole album do yourself a favour and give it a listen, or 100 listens, you won’t regret it.
