I recently released my own playlist on Spotify. The playlist is simply called Songs and contains all the music that means something to me, music that spans my life.
All the obvious artists are included, my personal heroes like The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, U2, Bruce Springsteen and dozens of more obscure artists.
I would like to bring to your attention some songs that I think are classics, some that are well known and some that are not at all known. The first is from the beautiful Lesley Duncan and her stellar song Broken Old Doll.
If you don’t know Lesley’s work then I strongly urge you to spend some time getting to know her, you will be richly rewarded. Sadly Lesley died in 2010 but her music lives on and will hopefully be listened to for many, many years to come.
