Quite simply this is one of the most beautiful albums you’ll ever hear. Released in 1974 this album wasn’t a hit, at least not a big hit and Lesley never became the household name her talent warranted, but you will have heard Lesley singing the back-up vocals to literally hundreds of songs.

The really sad news is that Lesley passed away in 2010 and her legacy now is a Spotify playlist that doesn’t list her five albums, just a compilation of most of her songs.

Everything Changes was Lesley’s third album and contains absolute gems like Broken Old Doll, Watch The Tears and the title track Everything Changes. These are stunningly good songs and because Lesley had one of the greatest pop voices ever they are timeless in their beauty.

Lesley wrote Love Song which Elton John covered on his album Tumbleweed Connection and she released on her debut album Sing Children Sing in 1971.

Take a listen to Lesley Duncan, she was a rare and gifted vocalist and songwriter who should have had much more fame and attention. If you get a chance to buy one of her albums take it.
