I have to confess that I don’t know a great deal about Maggie Rogers, other than this album and a few bits and bobs on TV and YouTube, and that’s a mistake because based on this album alone Maggie is a musical force.

This isn’t the easiest album to listen to, don’t get me wrong the songs are beautifully crafted and played, but it can be a hard listen as Maggie lays it all out for the listener. But it’s what marks the album out as special.

I urge you to listen because if you’re not already a fan of Maggie Rogers you soon will be.
