Over the weekend I reached an incredible 5,000 Facebook friends – thank you each and every one of you.

Facebook won’t let you have more than 5,000 friends and so I’ll be switching the page over to a business page and asking you all to follow me if you would be so kind.

The reality is that these days if you want to do anything with music you have to have a substantial social media following. Many artists buy thousands of followers across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok etc to ‘get them started’ and hope that many more thousands will follow. I haven’t done that. Every Facebook friend has chosen to friend me and I’m both proud and humbled by that.
